If you have been following the nightmare story of Lt. Col. Joel Kirk’s battle for custody, which for him is an effort to remove his children from the hands of their physically, emotionally and psychologically abusive mother, you know that the family court of Judge Lori B. Jackson is standing in the way of his children’s safety.
We cannot allow this to continue without taking action to stop it.
AVfM has elected to start a petition to the West Virginia House of Delegates, which is the governmental body responsible for impeaching judges and removing them from the bench when they violate their legal obligations as members of the judiciary.
Nowhere is this more necessary than in the case of Judge Jackson.
We are calling on all persons to sign this petition. If you are familiar with this case, you are already on your way to sign. If you are not familiar with this case, you can get the details, including the harrowing recordings of Tina Taylor Kirks drunken rage and violent assault on her children at the links below.
For anyone unclear about Judge Jackson’s responsibility here, please read the following from the West Virginia Judiciary Rules of Practice and Procedure for Family Court:
Reports by Family Court. – If a family court has reasonable cause to suspect any minor child involved in family court proceedings has been abused or neglected, that family court shall immediately report the suspected abuse or neglect to the state child protective services agency, pursuant to W. Va. Code §§ 49-6A-2, and the circuit court.
Not only has Judge Jackson clearly violated state guidelines, she has done so knowingly at the expense of two minor children, effectively delivering them into the custody of the person abusing them.
Please sign this petition and pass it around. It does not matter where you live. These children are currently in the care of an abuser, the authorities have failed them and there is literally no one but us to try to help them out of this situation.

Here is my reason for signing:
What Judge Lori B. Jackson has done is unconscionable and nothing less than a perversion of justice. She has abused her judicial power since the day she very strategically was appointed to this case after Tina Kirk retained a lawyer with a relationship to the original judge, Cornelia Reep, who did the right thing by removing the children from their abusive mother. Turns out Judge Jackson should have recused herself as she is also inappropriately connected to Tina Kirk’s attorney, Thomas G. Smith. So, children are continuing to be abused because their alcoholic, Borderline Personality Disordered, devious, lying, crocodile tear crying mother has friends in high places. How embarrassing for the state of West Virginia to have that hack, Lori B. Jackson, sitting atop the bench. Impeach the Dishonorable Lori B. Jackson now and get those children out of harm’s way.

Reason for signing: Because knowingly placing children in the custody of a clearly and obviously abusive mother, against the wishes of the children and the recommendation of many experts consulted by the court, is the deliberate torture of those children by Judge Lori B Jackson. These children have a loving and devoted father who they are safe with, and by the testimony of the children their father was the only source of safety and protection they had against their mother. To intentionally deprive the children of that protection is cruelty on an unfathomable scale.
