Yet another student union at the University of Toronto has added their voice to the misandric choir attempting to silence men’s issues. The Scarborough Campus Student Union is calling for the Men’s Issues Awareness Group to be taken down.
I am using it, in this very article, to point to the enemy (that would be you) and serve it up to my many readers who find you as disgusting as I do. And if Wikipedia revokes my license to use their software, I will rebuild the site with .asp or some other technology and use Wiki’s attempt to censor me in several articles, drawing even more traffic to the site.
The transition from second to third wave has not made feminism any less hostile or hateful. This was a superficial change, a rhetorical rejigging – the plastering of makeup onto the public face for public consumption. While the feminists of the second wave openly admitted to hating all men, modern day Earnest Feminists recognize certain categories of men who are not deserving of hatred – conjuring up exceptions to more easily maintain the general rule.
Social commentators continue to regurgitate the popular message that men are failures for opting out of marriage version 2.0 – where women (but not men) can exit at any time, retaining their partner’s income while disposing of his person. This message coupled with various imperatives to man up and be the cash, labour and sperm dispenser that would make a Victorian era patriarch proud. The nearly universal message that any male self actualization not of utility to a woman is shameful.
We are the ones putting an end to oppressive gender roles. So I suggest that is what we let them know, and that we point out to them exactly why they are nothing more than a continuation of the old paradigm, enforced with shame and bullets.
Past and present efforts to silence, shame, marginalize, and subvert the efforts of mens rights activists demonstrate that what we are saying about our opponents, the enemies of human rights, is not exaggeration, or conspiracy theory, instead it is understatement.
Feminism appeals to the selfish little girl in women, with demands that she should ‘have it all’. And that anytime she doesn’t, it’s men’s fault. And it’s that scapegoating, the ‘othering’ of men that marks feminism as truly evil.
As a fill-in player, I’ve played with all types of musicians and by far these are the ultimate ego-obsessed princesses. They are told that their “pain” and experiences of being women need to be voiced for the sake of educating.
As the brutalization of men becomes the norm, practised by more people, a greater number of misandrists will become emboldened to act out their hate. Feminism does not entail men ‘losing privileges,’ or suffering for a little while until the sexes are in balance and life becomes a perfect harmony.
An urge to silence debate or dissent is, by the way, a totalitarian urge. The attempts by Kellet and others to silence discussion and criticism validates arguments made on AVFM regarding the escalation of an emerging police state.
Has anybody ever seen a feminist pushing for equal numbers of male and female coal miners? It might happen, when coal mining becomes a job done from the safety of an air conditioned suite, without the multiple hazards male coal miners presently endure.
The continually escalating narrative of “protecting” women by affording them ever greater protection and privilege above and beyond the legal rights of “bad” men is designed to produce a society in which nobody has legal rights except for the members of a few banking families. Not even women will have human rights in that world, because the men who would have protected them will be, and are being reduced to the legal status of furniture and appliances.
