As a rule, our philosophical opponents aren’t particularly knowledgeable in basic economics and over the last several days they proved that once again by supporting a so-called “menstrual leave” in Italy citing “research” that claims such a policy doesn’t lead to more workplace absenteeism. They also proved it when they went after an older feminist who uttered the basic economic fact that women flooding the workforce did indeed put a downward pressure on men’s wages – calling that ‘misogyny’ on her part instead of calling that utterance for what it is: basic economics.
