Hatred at Mississippi State University

More excellent reporting from HDFH on the pervasive climate of male hatred at Mississippi State University. This film illuminates the overbearing position of power and unchallenged control over the narrative and atmosphere on modern college campuses.

Excellent work on this video. Clear and direct without preaching or overkill. The images are particularly effective in conveying the suffocating atmosphere of the endless accusations and attacks directed at men.

So, this is what Ben has to look at every time he steps onto campus. I understand the boiling rage he must feel from this daily hammering by feminists. The assumption of male guilt is everywhere. Most depressing are the images of obviously male participants. No wonder Ben loses patience with them. Surely some of his fellow male sudents must be sick of it all.

This video is a laudable effort to try and combat such deeply entrnched misandry. It is a credit to evryone concerned. Positive activism at its best.

Anyone else see the similarity between the white ribbon for men and the Nazi’s compulsory Star of David?

  4. Oh how I wish I could be there myself, to walk around the campus and tweak the noses (figuratively) of various people. There is an art to this, mind you.

    Let’s see now. . .

If somebody handed me a ribbon and asked me to take the pledge, I would rattle off a quick list of other things that I might pledge not to do, and would demand to know why they didn’t want me to take THOSE pledges.

E.G. I pledge not to commit arson. . . . I pledge not to drive while drunk . . I pledge not to rob convenience stores. . . I pledge not to be a pickpocket who snatches watches. . . I pledge not to be a peeping Tom who. .eh.. . watches…. um….yes…. Okay! I pledge not to be a crooked stockbroker . . . I pledge not to superglue car door locks. . . I pledge not to kick fluffy kittens . . . I pledge not to eat food at the supermarket without paying for it . . . I pledge not to shoot heroin. . . I pledge…..I pledge. . . I pledge. . .

I would make clear how grossly offensive it would be, to ask a random stranger take any such “pledges” as these — especially when you had no reason to assume that he would ever even commit any of the listed actions.

And then I would demand to know why in hell the pledge they were presently asking me to take should be considered in any light other than what I had just described.

Finally, I would grab that ribbon, chew it up, politely offer it back to them oozing with saliva, and nonchalantly toss it on the ground if they didn’t take it. Then I would walk away.

The possible variations of ad lib and nuance would be nearly infinite, but the key to this scenario would be timing, delivery, and aplomb.

If you had a partner doing a video capture, that would be sheer perfection, and a gift to the movement that would keep on giving.

Hey, you could EVEN post this little essay on a blog, and circulate the URL around campus.

Woman’s Rights has abolished Human Rights.
The rights of the most privileged over everyone else.
Throughout history why have the most uncaring and useless people been the most valued. (Example the class system in England and cast system in India).
Competent capable woman do not demand such reverence and obedience. Competent adult woman earn respect through their abilities and actions just like good men.

    • “Competent adult woman earn respect through their abilities and actions just like good men.”

A critical distinction here. Nobody needs to “earn respect”, although they can forfeit respect through their behavior.

What they “earn” is not “respect”, but rather additional merit points.

The scripts from these videos would also make excellent articles for this site. Outstanding work.

  7. Dear diary:

Smoked three cigarettes had a mug of cold coffee then got out of bed. Stumbled to the shower and let the water run over me for ten minutes and then opened eyes.

Dressed, ate, packed books for lecture at the same time, then walked onto campus.

White ribbon shoved in face, ignored it then stopped a few minutes later in pain. Wiped blood off shirt, unpinned ribbon from neck, kept walking.

Became disorientated in clothesline maze. All shirts there reminding me of the pain and suffering felt by superiors.

Found my way out, hit with high heels to shoulders and head and told to wear them to feel the pain and suffering felt by superiors.

Hobbled past lines of superiors on both sides spitting at me.

Lecture interrupted by superiors taking cell phones from inferiors and herding us to back row seats. Don’t know where my shoes are now, heels causing me great pain.

Went to cafeteria, on the way was pushed aside by superior and fell into organic herb patch. Superiors ticketed me and removed basic campus resources until infraction payed in full with monies I must borrow. Took out small loan at higher interest than superiors to pay for gardening and floral replacement costs.

Tried to find shoes, superiors ticketed me for attempting to remove high heels. More privileges gone and interest of loan increased to 43 percent per quarter.

Received text message from administration, it reads: “Please wear white ribbon. You have ten minutes to comply. Failure to do so will result with internet severance and one month of intermittent electricity services of your unit on campus.”

    Accepted white ribbon.

Lectures are finished for the day, walked back to on campus unit. Discover my front door lock has been removed pending further administrative inquiry into day’s infractions.

Went to bed. Cannot sleep like all nights now as beeper on ankle bracelet keeps me awake.

I pledge to be better tomorrow.

Patriarchy

Patriarchy

Patriarchy has become the go to boogy-man for feminist ideologues, being blamed for everything from imaginary wage gaps to imaginary rape culture. Question is, is their idea of patriarchy just as fake as the problems they imagine it creates? Phil in Utah weighs in.
