I’m a day dreamer. A muse. I’m often not here, but “there” instead. It got me into big trouble as a school boy. It still does as I’m on the harsh end of the cultural zeitgiest, being a western male.
Occasionally I like to deliberately daydream and see what comes to mind. I know that only when folks ask the right questions, do they get the right answers. Questions don’t fall out of the sky and into our heads though. We need to take time to think them up.
Recently I had the luxury of time on vacaton to do just that. =So recently I dreamt up some questions which I offer here. They are questions which in turn are designed to provoke MRA’s imagination and discussion.
So here goes, in no particular order of importance, just how they came up in my mind:

What if men embraced the insult —misogynist and proudly proclaimed themselves misogynist. Thus, everywhere they go it spurred debate in those people who otherwise wouldn’t think of male equality issues?
I am a misogynist. It is not an insult. It is my liberation. It is proof I am not a mangina or white knight. It states clearly that women do not own me, manipulate me, or control me with their sexuality or the whining and false claims of victimhood.
My declaration of misogyny says I know that women have no obligations towards my gender that they cannot disregard on a whim and I am seizing equality by disregarding my obligation to like women unconditionally.
What if every man felt that way? If enough men own their shaming language then those words have no power and women will have no power.

Spurring interesting and important debate/discussion is always a great thing to do but I’m not sure if your approach is the right one.
You stating that you hate women exactly because of their gender is not a sign of freedom. It is simply a mark of hate. If feminists called themselves misandrists to free themselves from “shaming language” and mark their freedom from men… Well.
It would really just be an exposure (a very unfortunate for them – and for us) of underlying hatred in everything you say.

This is one of the strangest claims I have ever heard. I suppose you claim women would go ape-shit on the principle that they could not purposefully get pregnant (without their significant other knowing/desiring the pregnancy)… and in that context, okay.
But I honestly believe that most women would be remarkably enthusiastic about male birth control. This otherwise batshit insane radical feminist website dedicated pages to complaining about how unfair it is that only women have to take care of birth control -that it is indeed an extra responsibility – and thus also bear the brunt of the negative side effects.
Google it, there are many. My mother suffered from depression when she was on the pill.
In general, male birth control pills are a relief for everyone, providing greater security, greater individual freedom and options. I find it hard to believe that any sane (or, interestingly enough, even any batshit insane radical feminist) would be against the male pill.
Babies, after all, are also made consensually. I would like to believe that this is usually the case. Being an optimist.

I disagree that babies are made consensually. The sex is consensual but research and anecdotal evidence suggests that conception is not consensual in many cases.
I know of too many women who have become pregnant in direct opposition to their partners’ wishes.
I also have know some men who support a woman’s right to deceive her partner.
It makes perfect sense for a woman to be against the male pill. For them, it is a loss of control. It also gives the man the opportunity to deceive them in the same way they can currently deceive the man.
I know of exactly one woman who is suspected (it is unclear, as these cases tend to be) of becoming pregnant despite her significant other’s wishes (accidentally, she says). He ended up going with it.
In the case of our family, my father strongly urged my mother to get pregnant despite her wishes. They ended up being fairly happy with the arrangement, but she did have to quit her studies. It was messy.
Otherwise, I’ve got no anecdotal evidence against babies being made consensually. If you have research on the topic, I’d be very interested in seeing it.
And I have female friends that wish their partners could take the pill instead of/with them so that they could be more secure all in all. Don’t tell me these people don’t exist. :/

This would be fantastic, and the result would be women would have to put on a really good con job over a long period of time to get a guy to agree to make a baby with them. It won’t happen though, what will probably be more likely is that the best and most sought after single men will use the pill the most, cutting off women from trapping them. These would be the most financially well healed, the less a guy has to lose, the less likely he’ll be taking a the pill, which will probably be expensive as hell, and with no gov subsidy. So women will have to settle for poor guy if they want to get knocked up by accident on purpose.

There are a couple of places that have got exemptions……a gay mens club for example. We have let things get to the point where it’s going to take a lot of men who just don’t give a fuck what feminists, or any women say to fight back from the position we are in now.

Although many of us won’t meet, many will meet over a lifetime and all the more so in times of trouble. But not just for negative occasions, for good occasions too like the Colorado trip in July for example. All the postings and posturings in the world have not acomplished what the simple act of a few good men assembled to witness the courtroom hearings of Thomas Ball would have done.
That’s because most men are at work or are too busy providing, or preparing themselves to be good providers, and don’t have the free time that many women enjoy to focus on their issues. Women put pressure on men to go into higher paying jobs. But these higher paying jobs often have longer hours and higher stress requirements. They also don’t leave idle time for them to drop everything and head down to the courthouse to fight for their own rights. Besides, they are mocked and belittled for doing things like that. Men who are pressured all their lives to follow that path have absolutely no time to do anything except career stuff, 80 hours per week or more, for at least the first ten years of their careers, anyway.
Are we going to turn around and blame these men when they have no rights because they would not go protect their rights?
While their husbands are busy working and providing for them, the women sneak off and advocate for more women’s privileges to the detrimant of the very men who are affording them the idle time to do so.
They complain about stuff like the pay gap even though they are the ones who cause the pay gap because they only select men who out-earn them as romantic partners.
So, the minute that we earn less than women, we are losers. But the instant that we out-earn them, we are part of the secret club of patriarchal oppressors who systematically keep women down. And when she begins to out-earn him, her friends tell her that she should leave him.
If he finds out that her friends have been trying to talk her into leaving, and he confronts one of them in his own house, and voices get a little loud, he can be removed from his own home by law enforcement, while his soon-to-be estranged wife and her friends are allowed to stay.
Then, and only then, does the guy really have the time to go down to the court house and fight for men’s rights. See, before then, he was spending all his time, money, and assetts working and providing. If he would have abandoned his role as a provider to assemble at the courthouse, that too would have destroyed his marriage, respect in the community, and likely his job.
I am in one of those so-called “male dominated” fields. I have studied every single Friday and Saturday night this semester. I put in over 100 hours per week. I know a lot of guys who are also in the Reserves in addition to this major. I don’t see any women working this hard. They don’t want to put themselves through this and they do not feel the same level of social pressure to do so. Although freshmen and sophomore mechanical engineering students are roughly 50 percent women, one or two percent of our senior mechanical engineering class are women, despite all the posters that say “STEM NEEDS MORE WOMEN,” etc. I know several who get guys to do their homework for them and they still act like air heads.
I can see why men aren’t assembling. For example, I used to work as a Diesel mechanic. I was school-trained and had about $20,000 worth of tools (still have them). People assumed that I made a lot of money.I could barely keep my lights on and afford heat in the winter and had to work 50 hours per week, often in the cold, to get that. I was too tired to even go shoot a game of pool on the weekend.
The reason that everyone believes that working class, skilled trade men make a lot of money is because of patriarchy theory. It was my belief in patriarchal theory that duped me into going into skilled working-class, manly jobs. I had heard constantly, from girls in my high school and women on television that “it wasn’t fair; girls have to go to college to earn decent money but guys can just go straight to work and make more than college graduates.”
I started to believe this lie when I was a teenager and prepared myself for a career in mechanics. I learned that this was a feminist-generated lie the hard way. In fact, if work was slow, and I ended up standing around waiting on a repair to do, I didn’t get paid. Some weeks I would average $6.00 per hour. The pretty women in the office who did paperwork, made a lot more than me, only worked 40 hours per week, and took 2 hour lunch breaks.
In fact, my boss would make me change the oil in their cars, which were a lot nicer than anything that I could afford, as if it were a part of my regular job. That doesn’t sound like the patriarchal dream I was told that I would have if I just dropped out of school and became a mechanic. In fact, most of the men that I worked with who were in their 50s still lived in house trailers, usually due to confiscatory alimony and child support, most were divorced, and some still had to borrow money from their parents to buy their kids shoes and school supplies. They didn’t have idle time and energy to assemble at a courthouse, even when push came to shove.
Every job that I had, placed women in the office and men doing the hard jobs. Men had to buy their own tools and did not make enough more to justify it. In fact, most of the time the office women made more than the mechanics. I still remember the day a friend of mine from the office (a woman) came to our shop and discovered that we had our own huge tool chests full of tools that we bought. She had been working there for years, complained that men earn more, yet had absolutely no idea that we had to buy our own tools. Some guys had $50,000 worth.
I was a truck driver too, over the road, flat bed. To be a dispatcher, you had to put in several years of outstanding service and be selected. Unless you were a woman. Women applied and the only place that they could put them was in the office. Driving a truck is not good enough for women, I guess. So, a woman would walk in from off the street and suddenly she was my boss. The company was KTL out of Joplin, MO. Those women bosses of mine would put pressure on me to lie on my log-book (without ever actually saying it), drive all day and all night, while they sat in an office. This is why I quit. Trucking is a big game; every trucker on the road is driving illegal due to being “out of hours.” That way, no matter what happens, even if somebody runs into him on the road, it his “his fault” when they check his log book. This is a huge area where men are cannon fodder and I have never seen it addressed on any MRA forum. I think that would be a good area for me, if I ever had the time.
But you would never hear this version of male dominated skilled trades in the media or in any public school. The fact that there is enormous pressure on men to lie about the amount of money they make, in order to attract mates, does not help the matter. I saw so many other mechanics say to women that they made $70,000, etc. per year. That would win them a couple of dates until she found out that the guy only made $25,000, then she was gone. Most of the guys I worked with had to pay so much child support that they had no money to go out on any date and therefore had no hope of meeting another woman. Men are still expected to pick up the bill.

There will always be ways of getting dna testing done. You only need a strand of hair, you can send overseas for the testing if you have too. But knowing 100% for sure that you are not the father of a particular child that you are paying child support for, doesn’t change anything if the courts and the law isn’t going to recognize the proof, and will actually charge you with a crime for obtainng the proof.

I would personally be fascinated to hear why you think society would thrive if men dropped out of the program. I personally think it is one of the surest indicators of economic disaster (hint, hint: men don’t have babies, women are hypergamous, and eventually the hens come home to roost).
I agree it’s an indicator of economic decline. But the economy would already be in great decline anyway. Men dropping out would be a symptom of the problem, not the cause. Men dropping out is a symptom but also a feed back mechanism promoting recovery. Currently, men in the system are slaves. They don’t benefit from this kind of social organization. Slaves aren’t very productive and slavery is a very inefficient way to extract labor in support of civilization (real marriage is a lot better). As far as I can tell from a review of history, no society that relied upon slavery for labor has sustained itself. When men drop out in huge numbers, they don’t have to be slaves to a feminist fascist police state in perpetual economic decline. They can actually be productive again and support a civilization from which they actually benefit. (I did not interpret “drop out” as die or be exiled or something like that – I interpreted it the way Skeptik has promoted MGTOW – I hope I got that right – LOL.) Once women realize they benefit more from that kind of social organization instead of the fantasy promoted by big government, then I think they would migrate en masse to those men and run screaming from the government. Then advance of civilization will accelerate again (without slavery for men and institutionalized prostitution of and adultery for women). It’s a process. Won’t happen over night. But I think more and more women are realizing the limits to government stealing from men and giving to women. Not that it reflects well upon them as they should have seen in coming a long time ago. These all sound like good ideas but I’m concerned that the grasseaters is a japanese cultural phenomenon and that western countries will more likely develop hook up culture resulting in more baby mamas and marginalized baby daddies.

Current events update: There is no middle class in the US and men live on the streets just trying to survive. By the millions. Approximately 1.1-million have suicided during the past forty years. More than (probably much more than) 250,000 have suicided as a direct consequence of our draconian system of family law that has forcibly separated more than 40-million children from more than 25-million fathers. We are at war and our feminist government is trying to exterminate us the way the Nazis tried to exterminate the Jews.

I’m not sure that the formation of a NOM (National Organization of Men) would necessarily lead to more government. It wouldn’t have to be modeled upon NOW.
I was merely reflecting upon the 2 names and see they could be very different organizations. NOW lobbies for govmint handouts, NOM could lobby to get government out of men’s lives in areas it’s misandric and lobby for what they as taxpayers are due – equitable funding for men’s issues. So for example if it’s a health issue NOM lobbies for 50% of any government spending for males. Indeed if it’s on a by need basis, given the stats they’d lobby for much more than 50%.
This is where male studies is important. Point taken. I just don’t want to see men stooping to the low level to which feminists have stooped. The devil likes low-hanging fruit and large organizations are preferred because more damage can be done through them than through an individual. That’s what makes the female disposition so attractive to evil-doers. They act collectively and are easy to manipulate. That’s why I’ve been so intrigued by your portrayal of MGTOW – because it does not promote collectivism so much as independence as a response to feminism. But yes, the benefits to combatting male health issues as they have been thwarted by feminist organizations is a definite plus, as long as such efforts reflect the truth and rely upon science instead of solipsism.

I ain’t buyin’ it.
It’s not about “free time.” It’s about men limiting themselves due to socialization.
Guys find plenty of time to do other things when not working. Like coaching/umpiring sports; creating/joining groups like the Shriners, Masons, Elks, Rotarians, VFW, and other fraternal orders; hunting, white water rafting, gardening, painting, photographing; working in volunteer fire departments and volunteering for breast cancer marches.
It’s not that there’s no time for the MRM. It’s that men fear being shamed by Big Mommy if they start caring about themselves…and doing so publicly.
Boyos have succumbed to conditioning (mostly inflicted by female caregivers, teachers, nuns, nurses) that teaches that a male who cares about himself is gay or otherwise a female-wannabe. Ergo, not a “real man.”
And so, not lovable.
That shaming taps into men’s earliest lives… their primal, dependent days… when a mother’s stern look could freeze a heart. It’s THAT basic fear that comes up when guys dare to speak out for ourselves and against the many misandric things too many females spew.
Parable:
A handful of men try to get others to join a volunteer fire department. They warn potential recruits about flammable things in homes and the need to join forces.
The targeted boyos mock the warnings. They know they, themselves, are careful and that only “losers” get burned.
When such a male finally smells smoke (say, getting burned by divorce papers), he screams bloody hell. He demands help from the very firefighters he mocked. Of course, getting no new recruits, those jakes are in no position to help the distraught guy.
On and on it goes: men mocking the MRM…until they need it. Then moaning that there isn’t a powerful, pro-male group to help them personally…as if Martians are MRAs.
I think more and more men will have to be burned before the MRM grows.
I’m starting to see flames at local colleges. Two guys are being reamed by media for “alleged” sexual assaults. It’s entirely possible that the women have buyers’ remorse for consensual sex. And/are availing themselves of ever-vaguer rape charges with fewer rights for the accused and more severe punishments.
A third guy was arrested for touching a girl’s stomach in a library. Can you image cops hauling a female to jail for poking a man’s stomach, saying, “Great abs!”?
Little will change until men are willing to put something on the line. Currently they’re only willing to palaver online. It’s not nothing, just the level males should have been at 40 years ago.
Feminists win because they play the political game. They know when to show up…and why…and how to massage media to get their message out to whom.
Guys? They lose because they’re content to grouse in Cyberia. Or think meeting a few new buddies in person will stop the feminist juggernaut. Or that studying men’s lives/health is “self-absorbed.”
Feminists convinced men that taking care of themselves is stupid and “sissy.”
It’s hard to get a MRM going when guys feel guilty; think it’s “selfish” to look out for themselves; or worry about never getting laid again as an MRA.

I found myself identifying very easily wth those “firefighters”.
In my youth, I too thought “it could never happen to me”.
Then one, day after years of smooth sailing; “the papers” arrived. I never even saw it coming.
Seems she was “bored” and that I “just wasn’t the same man she fell in love with anymore”.
It almost felt like it was scripted out of some kind of secret play book, or something.
Anyway, I have in fact been online grousing ever since, if for no other reason than that to do so outside of Cyberia is to exacerbate an already tragic personal disaster, with more unnecessary drama-ramma from all sides.
Nobody but no one is really even remotely attempting to hear it at this point, so I tend to save my breath real world.

For those who simply knocked down ideas without offering alternatives, I’d prefer to see you putting up alternative ideas. That takes effort I know, but that way there’s more chance of a synthesis emerging that could prove VERY empowering.

We do have the National Coalition for Men (NCFM), which has been around since 1977. It’s more or less a male counterpart to NOW.
For even half these things to happen would first require massive public awareness and sympathy for what the MRM is and stands for. That being said, I imagine that for even half of these to occure would result in some form of nation wide MRA celebration. Then that’s just my speculation.
