New York Governor David Patterson has commuted the sentence of John White, a 50-something black father, who was serving a two-to-four year sentence for manslaughter in the shooting death of 17-year-old Daniel Cicciaro, who was white. The tragic shooting stemmed from a false rape claim.
At his trial, Mr. White testified that late in the evening of August 9, 2006, his 19-year-old son, Aaron, woke him up to tell him that he had just come from a party where a young woman wrongly accused him of threatening to rape her on a MySpace posting. Aaron told his father that a group of angry white youths were headed to their house to beat him up because they wrongly believed the young woman. Mr. White and his son walked to the end of their driveway to confront the youths, and in the heated confrontation that followed, young Mr. Cicciaro was killed. Mr. White claimed his gun accidentally discharged.
The girl later recanted the rape claim.
Mr. Cicciaro’s mother, Joanne Cicciaro, said her son was trying to protect the girl. “The thing is, that night, Daniel believed Aaron threatened to rape a girl that was like his little sister.”
One boy is dead, and a father was imprisoned after a racially charged trial that divided a city. But the girl, apparently, escaped unscathed.
The scope of the tragedy is Shakespearean. But it raises an important issue that we frequently confront at my blog, False Rape Society. Those of us who follow the false rape phenomenon see patterns of gendered reactions to rape claims. Based on my review of the reported cases, it is fair to assert that men, as befitting their status since the beginning of time as women’s protectors, typically express greater outrage over rape claims than do women.
This is in contrast to the significant number of women who treat the notion of rape so cavalierly that either they tell rape lies in order to serve some ulterior, selfish purpose (only a small percentage of women actually tell rape lies, just as only a small percentage of men actually rape), or they minimize, excuse, or rationalize false rape claims (a far more significant percentage of women do this).
Mr. Cicciaro’s death is just one of many tragedies stemming from male outrage over false rape claims. A 15-year-old girl falsely told her boyfriend that Sumbo Owoiya, 18, raped her. The girl, the boyfriend, and another man then drove to the innocent youth’s apartment. While Mr. Owoiya was looking through a peep hole, the other man shot him to death through the door. Last year, two teenage girls lied to a 19-year-old man that another 19-year-old, Cory Headen, had raped one of them, so the man broke into Mr. Headen’s home and beat him to death with a baseball bat while he was sleeping. At the man’s trial, the judge described the teens who accused Mr. Headen of rape as “stupid, drunken, immature girls” who delivered a vile message. The judge sentence the man who did the beating to seven years in prison. One young man was dead, another’s life was destroyed, all because of a false rape claim, and the girls who ignited the fire apparently escaped unscathed. John Chalmers, a 47-year-old prominent businessman, suffered devastating brain injuries in a vicious attack after a woman’s brother was wrongly convinced that Mr. Chalmers had raped his sister, so the brother thrashed Mr. Chalmers. Darrell Roberson had come home unexpectedly from a trip when he found his wife, Tracy Roberson, and her lover, Devin LaSalle, together in Mr. LaSalle’s truck. To cover up her affair, Mrs. Roberson falsely told her husband she had been raped, and Mr. Roberson shot and killed Mr. LaSalle. And we could go on and on and on. Men, far more than women, typically are the ones who act out their rage when it comes to rape claims. They usually don’t go so far as to murder the accused, but they manifest their vitriol in any number of other ways.
This, of course, points up the monstrous lie repeated with zombie-like repetition by members of what can aptly be called the sexual grievance industry. They insist that rape is normalized, rationalized, and excused, principally by men, in our so-called “rape culture.” This, of course, is just another in a cavalcade of offensive, gender-divisive straw men concocted by persons financially dependent on the counterfeit perception that rape is a massive, unresolved problem that only they can solve.
The Cicciaro death, and the other tragedies stemming from false rape claims, raise a more sinister question: what role do men play in fostering our false rape culture? While rape liars must always assume principal responsibility for their falsehoods, and while the sexual grievance industry pumps out a steady diet of Chicken Little propaganda to foment good old fashioned lock-the-doors-hide-the-daughters rape hysteria, it seems that men and boys falsely accused of rape are mostly harmed by the overreactions of other men. It is mostly men who beat them to death, who fire them from their jobs, who splash their names all over the newspaper, and who are too quick to arrest and charge them on the basis of an unsubstantiated claim before an investigation has been concluded.
If the false rape crisis is to end, we must ask whether men, acting out their roles as women’s protectors, have become the unwitting tools of the politicized purveyors of misandry, who are all too happy to see men overreact at the slightest whiff of rape.

I agree. In fact, this is probably the reason why rape wasn’t always enforced. Men figured out that women were lying and refused to do anything about it. And given the fact that there often was no law enforcement, let alone investigating body, men had to decide to punish the rape and maybe get themselves killed, or let it slide until some time when they could exact revenge.
Of course feminists don’t want to talk about the fact that false rape is more common than actual rape. Instead, they want to tell us that rape is only prosecuted 1 out of 20 times (from feminist on Youtube video).
Or perhaps only 1 out of 20 times is the woman credible enough to actually make a prosecution?
Frankly, I think the whole discussion is moot.
Gender Equality means that one gender is no longer responsible for the health and welfare of the other. It’s clear to me by the rate women divorce and the way they speak of men that they hold no fiduciary duty towards us. Therefore, we should hold no duty towards them. It’s simply not our problem anymore. We are not their property tasked to risk our necks and spend our income to make them safe.
They are equal and that means equally disposable and equally responsible for their own health and safety.
Sigh.

If a man decides to investigate the serious claims made by the friend/relative woman, does this not indicate that he is not taking RAPE!, seriously? That he is not automatically believing the VICTIM? Men killing men is a good step achieving the 90% reduction in male population, as deemed necessary by some radical feminists. This is the way heterosexual men can be targeted very accurately.

This story by you just made the local paper. It stated that he touched her breast. Internet has all kinds of allegations. Also that she suffered from depression. The truth why she committed suicide might never be found, but it sure will be fodder for feminist gristmill demanding tougher sanctions.

So Seeberg was a drug addict who had no credibility. Maybe the university didn’t give all the details because they were protecting what was left of her reputation.
I think Notre Dame should give all the details about the case so her parents can find out what a skank their daughter turned out to be.
If I had to guess I’d say she asked for money for sex and when the athlete said “no” she filed a rape charge.
The topic illustrates exactly why Shining Knight syndrome/the mangina approach is bad. In this scenario, the whole “protector” role that society has ingrained in men gets perverted into a real-life take on Unforgiven. Great, great film but it’s ultimately a glorification of the mangina. Recall, that the whole plot was based on a whore who ordered a hit on a john who laid a smackdown on her after she insulted him on how he partook of wares, which he paid for by the way. He was portrayed as Satan but at the same time we all know that it’s hell being a whore no matter the time period. My point is that men must take great care to not go half-cocked in the face of situations like this and justify murder & violence as “justice” instead of what it is: half-assed vigilantism and/or being pawn in a sexual spin job/PR damage control campaign by a female who’s caught a case of dick remorse or is just trying to play puppetmaster. One must also wonder about the possibility if these acts were rooted to some beef that was there before the crime claim happened and that the “rape” is a hall pass to kill someone who’s made a shitlist rather than “justice”. It’s true that the legal system is broken and is long overdue for reform but it at least attempts to examine a crime with infinitely more energy than a guy who’s using Facebook and word of mouth to exact a pound of flesh that may not even be entitled to anyone since the act in question may not have happened or that there’s more to the story, which is often the case since women are apt to tell partial lies, if not blatant ones, when the spotlight comes in a negative way.

While it appears that the FRS concerns itself with exposing false accusations leveled upon all people it is no co-incidence that it is men who happen to be the frequent or primary targets of such blatant damning injustice.
Also appreciated is the commentary which points out that even greater injustice toward the merely accused is undertaken by mostly men. Whether that man is a bystander, friend, boyfriend, relative, husband, police officer, judge, jury or executioner he is any female’s protector and provider of “justice”. Who said that men do not emote? And over this issue, men emote stupidly.
But wait, I am not going to over-look the role of the accusing female. No, I am going to point 4 fingers and one thumb toward the mouthpiece, the master of certain man-kind, who knowingly and willingly speaks a false command to the feral intellect of her faithful pack.
Were it not for mercy corporeal punishment would be the false accuser’s fate if I were measuring justice. But, in the real mean time I advocate prison sentenses to proven false accusers in environments similar to what men routinely experience as a matter of course in wrong-doing. No frilly pillows and sheets, no children present, no cosmetic enhancements, no sitting around filing nails doing nothing else, no cushy atmosphere that is routinely found in female prisons. And she would work producing something physical for pennies on the hour.
Chicks have long gotten a free ride in many things different from men, but that is all going to change when true ‘equality’ is measured out. Punishing false accusers with the same treatment a man would receive if convicted of rape is only the start.

False accusation is one of the favorite instruments of violence of women against men. I’ve recognized that for years. I’ve been victimized several times as I have witnessed other men so victimized.
In the 1980s, “War on Drugs,” I was a CO in a max detention centre and a male guard was so victimized. He rotted for 6 months and he was a very nice man. His family life, reputation, health, etc.
After 6 months of hell, the lying female inmate admitted to institution high brass that she had lied and NOTHING was done against her violence against men, and what is more, being high brass, it was ALL politically correct (read: Feminist). Perhaps that was my first systematic observation of the whole process from beginning to end (and it should not have ended there, of course).
The account discussed (and most likely the other examples referenced) constituted typical lynchings. Feminist honor killing lives on in the FSA (Feminist States of America) as it lives on globally, including in the rosereich where I live, Feminist Canada.
