Tiffany Marie Smith, the ex-wife of men’s advocate Gordon Smith is now sitting in jail after having been arrested on three counts of false accusation and one felony count of making a false statement to police investigators.
She was arrested this morning in Dover, Delaware by the Dover Police Department.
Her arrest came at the end of a Kafkaesque saga for Mr. Smith, who was arrested 8 times on a total of 13 allegations from Tiffany Marie, all of which stemmed from a bitter custody dispute. During that time, Gordon Smith was arrested once at gunpoint, jailed several times, forced to wear a GPS monitoring device around his ankle, and was in fact arrested twice when the monitoring device proved that he was nowhere near Tiffany Marie Smith at the times she alleged he violated a protective order. The allegations involved a range of crimes. including sexual assault, physical assault and terroristic threats.
The ordeal has cost him untold thousands in legal fees and severely compromised his professional life.
As a result of her arrest, all of the seven remaining charges against Mr. Smith were dropped, and his legal fight for his freedom is over.
It appears that the writing was evident on the wall to police officials, and the prosecution against Mr. Smith folded after the Dover State News (DSN) picked up on the story from A Voice for Men. DSN reporter Craig Anderson covered the story involving a felony charge against Gordon Smith being dropped, and reportedly began investigating other aspects of the case due to AVfM’s coverage.
An elated Mr. Smith had a message for readers of AVfM, who reacted to the story of his struggle by pressing it to officials and to the media.
“Words cannot describe the emotions I feel for every one of you at AVfM who made phone calls and sent emails and prayed for me during this time.”

After the arrest Tiffany Smith continued reporting that Mr. Smith was stalking her and on one occasion had physically attacked her. A joint investigation by Dover Police and the Delaware State Police found that Tiffany Smith falsified all the complaints she made against Mr. Smith. Tiffany Smith was arrested on three counts of falsely reporting an Incident and one count of providing a false statement. All charges against Gordon Smith have been dismissed at the request of the Dover Police Department.”

It does my heart good to see this report, particularly as it falls on Father’s Day here in Australia.

However, and its a big however, charges do not necessarily equate to a result. They are just a twist in the drama. Until she is successfully prosecuted and properly sentenced, Tiffany Marie Smith is still a threat to Gordon Smith.
Even if all of this is successful, the question of access to his children is not a foregone conclusion. This result would be a direct challenge to the Family Court System. They will make the campaign to stop these false allegations look like a walk in the park.
Nonetheless, a victory is a victory. This achievement, will inspire others. Well done again to all those involved.

Ray the bond on Tiffany Smith was $5,000 UNsecured. Not a dime from her pocket. Gordon is out over two weeks salary for bond for two BS arrests July 28 and August 20. He spent $560 of his hard earned money to stay out of jail last month. Rather prison, because Delaware doesn’t have jails. He said the prison was like MSNBC Lockup. He also had to submit to a feminazi Probation Officer and wear the GPS ankle bracelet.
We don’t know who the Justice of the Peace was that set the bond. Gordon doesn’t know if there is a no-contact order either. Tiffany was not charged with harassment and domestic violence is a modifier in DE that attaches to harassment.

Yes, and fact is, we have to be concerned for what she might do to her children. This is one certifiably crazy bitch.
My thoughts were of concern for a more direct attack against Gordon Smith for daring to hold her accountable for her actions.
I had assumed perhaps incorrectly that Mr. Smith would have sole custody from this point on.
But, I completely missed the “if I don’t have the kids no one will” potential.
My thoughts are with all of them and hopes that they stay safe and this is dealt with quickly.
I am concerned for his children as well. However, Child services there cannot act to even check on them without more than “she’s been acting crazy and just had a setback” (I already checked). Someone has to have reason beyond that to believe they’re in danger, like, if multiple calls asking about their welfare are unanswered or they disappear or something. Gordon isn’t about to go knocking on the door over there or starting any problems, so, it’s not sure there’s anything to do but pray that what happened here has, instead of making Tiffany more crazy, slapped her into some sort of cold sense of reality and acting less crazy.

Thank you Paul, Dean, John the other and everyone at aVfm. The tide has turned for Gordon but this is not over. Tiffany Smith needs to be arrested for harassment and for the two other proven false reports and the Delaware Department of Justice needs to be held accountable for “failure to protect” for allowing her rampage to continue for years.
We will be watching closely to see the outcome of this arrest. Tiffany was released on UNsecured bond. Gordon is out $560 for his two arrests. Gordon was put on pre-trial probation. I don’t know if Tiffany was put on pre-trial probation but it would be a pleasant surprise if she was. She should have to suffer the same consequences that he did and get a taste of her own medicine for the damage that she did to him. He didn’t deserve to be put through any of the hell he has been through the last several years. It took a tremendous toll on him financially, professionally, personally. It took a toll on people around him who helped him as much as they could but were powerless to protect him and could only witness his destruction. Tiffany can not undo her damage but needs to pay monetary restitution.
At least now Gordon can embark on rebuilding his life and should no longer live in constant fear of false arrest.

I’ve also got some serious concerns about the welfare of Mr. Smith’s kids. I’ve seen the darkness of women like Tiffany Smith before. The psychological blow of being shown to be a consummate liar in public coupled with her arrest and being charged with criminal offenses may just push her into committing the unspeakable.
Dr.T, if the US is anything like Australia, these charges are only token, because they think they will get the MRM to shut the hell up and leave them alone, now that she has been charged.
If it was Australia, she would not have been charged in the first place.
But, I live in hope like the rest of us, and I do pray that this poor man will receive justice and full custody of his children and that this Tiffany will spend a fairly lengthy time in prison, which is where she belongs.
Don’t be so harsh. Referral to a mental health facility would be perfectly appropriate — if we could locate one still employing early Victorian era methods like men’s prisons do. In fact, even early 20th century “mental therapies” would do in a pinch.
You know, that GPS monitor turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Since she is out of jail now, I hope Mr. Smith still has one, so that when she starts lying again, he can continue to build the case against her and prove his innocence.
I think there is a company that provides them if the courts don’t – Expen$ive but worth it.
Contemplate the irony that he had to have his fundamental Constitutional rights violated in order to prove his innocence.

Indeed – I recognize the irony, but for those in mano-y-chicka conflicts like this, a righteous man can carry the day by a secret but thorough sting with GPS, video, and audio, so that when the haters come calling…whoopsie!
The postering conflicts turned our way with full exposure and witnesses. And now this – GPS saving the day.
Our position is so strong, and our opponents so crazed, that objective monitoring, though intrusive to our (already compromised) rights, will redeem us.
The false accusers bray “don’t blame the (faux) victim”. If we adopt their heinous mentality in a system that is stacked against us, we are at severe disadvantage.
We are men. We can DO stuff. If we proactively protect ourselves with tech monitoring, the lying, hating beavers will be damned by their own extremism.
We don’t need victim cred – that’s their gig. We can have actual innocence cred, with solid proof of our innocence, and thereby, FTSU.
AVfM has had a great victory here. Finally ,by telling the truth loudly and publically people are being forced to listen. Truth always prevails. Successfully picking on individual cases like this will promate AVfm and the MRM . Eventually we ll reach critical mass and our issues will become mainstream. Media and policy makers need a constant thorn their respective sides. This is how original egalitarian feminism started successfully (pity it did nt stick with its egalitarian ideas , instead of the power hungry domination crap we have now)

I agree, Chris. The problem is, every month I receive emails from men in similarly nightmarish situations pleading for help from women who are hellbent on destroying them with the help of law enforcement and family court.
I tell all of them to document everything and then publicize it. However, I don’t think publicizing the injustices they’re suffering on their own is enough. Individually, they’re just lone voices in the wilderness who are easily portrayed as nuts/lying abusers. The way Paul and Dean handled this (and I believe I read about Mr Smith’s saga on NCFM as well) is brilliant.
Perhaps a template/protocol can be devised for how to vet and report these stories to get them maximum attention. The problem is there is only one Paul, one Dean, one Harry Crouch, one GWW, one JtO and one me, etc., etc.
Would it possible to organize an action committee of volunteer MRAs (who have strong writing skills) who can publicize the cases? To start, maybe Dean and Paul can mentor them (apologies for volunteering you both).
The sad reality is that Mr Smith’s story is just a drop in the bucket of injustice. The good news is what can be accomplished when a group of passionate people come together to fight for justice and unflinchingly expose the truth, no matter how ugly it is.
I’m also happy to help in whatever way I can. Receiving emails from men in these situations is heartbreaking and I hate feeling powerless to help them and, selfishly, I would love to have a network/system to patch them into to try and get them help.
I agree that it is wonderful how we have been able to assist this man.
However, we must make sure we don’t do this for anyone living in Australia. If you do, you will see them locked up in prison.
Section 121 of the Family Law Act 1976, says, if my memory serves me correctly, that you are not allowed to publicise any material to do with your case that could in anyway identify anyone who is attached to your case, most especially the slime.
Definition of the word ‘slime’.
The slime are the pseudo humans who work for the ex wife and whom are employed by the govt to do the ex wife’s bidding. They range from police, lawyers, judges/magistrates, to social workers and psychologists.
The slime is the lowest form of organism on this planet and is used by the scum of the earth to move itself along on top of.
If you are an Aussie and are currently in the family court system suffering from false allegations, be very careful what you say on the internet, because they will have you in prison if they find out. These filthy animals have used a law to cover their own arses!

Mate, I have no link for this, but over the last several years, I have heard of women who have used social media to destroy the reputations of their husbands and to slander his lawyers etc.
But if a man does this, he is in deep doggy do do!

Only just a couple of weeks ago, the Aust. family court stated they going after a man who has used facebook to name and shame his criminal ex wife, called her female lawyers child killers and had a go at the wanker in the wig, who sits in judgement over their case.
The court ordered that he take the site down or else. He refused. So, they are now going after him. My guess is he will be locked up for naming and shaming all parties who are using the law to break the law!

Yeah, interesting article Arvy. The facebook issue is becoming a serious one, most especially for fathers. They have to be so careful.
Makes me sick that they consider Skype as being a good substitute for having physical contact with your children. And we must remember, these laws are all designed to allow the mothers to do what they want, including packing up and moving their children to the other side of the country.
And here in Australia, the other side of the country, is roughly the same as the other side of the country in the US. So we are talking thousands of kilometres.

My kids love their mother, even if they don’t trust her as much as they trust me and even though they know she is an abusive woman. They always live in hope that she will one day grow up to be an adult and stop being concerned with her own selfish needs and focus on them instead. Probably won’t happen, but they live in hope.
Because my kids love their mother, then that is good enough for me. She gets to be able to converse with me, without me rubbing her evil behaviour in her face every time I see her.

Feminists believe in equality, and this brings with it greater social flexibility and opportunity for both sexes. It’s good for everyone. Men are no longer obliged to fit the provider role. Women are no longer obliged to fill the homemaker stereotype. A wife who earns the lion’s share will inevitably pay more after a divorce, for example. We certainly do not advocate making false allegations or perjuring yourself. What Tiffany Marie Smith did was morally and legally wrong. ‘Snothing to do with feminism.
If you believe men are no longer obliged to fit the provider role, you are living in a different world than I am, Englishwoman. I have to wonder if the sky is also blue where you live. The demand that men be providers is still rigidly enforced for most men, often with the brute force of the state to back it up. If you doubt it, I suggest you educate yourself on the matter.

If you want equality, go sacrifice 20,000,000 women building the Great Pyramids. Go sacrifice 10,000 women at Hoover Dam. Go sacrifice 50,000 women on the beaches at Normandy. You wanted equal pay for the same job type, but I can out produce my women counterparts by 38% in productivity, while expending more energy, costing me more to upkeep with food and drink and wearing out my shoes and clothing faster, all while making our employer more money in profits. How exactly is equal pay for the same job type fair to men when she is getting 38% of her wages for doing absolutely nothing?
You wanted full reproductive rights. Your body, your choice, right? Then why dont you want full 100% responsibility for those choices you wanted the right to make? What you wanted was all the say and none of the responsibility, and have forced men to be responsible for your choices without any accountability for you at all, and actually convinved the courts and the public that men who disagree with this inequality are not Real Men, thus deadbeat dads and criminals..
