Taking it to the streets

American MRA’s may want to make sure next year’s taxes are done at least a few days early.  Some of them will be busy in Washington D.C., staging a protest against misandry.

April 15, 2012 is the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, an event that showcases the end game consequences of chivalry, as well as providing indisputable evidence that patriarchy is a system of male disposability, not male power.

There is a memorial on Washington D.C.’s west side, erected through fundraising by American women, honoring the men who sacrificed their lives so that women and children could live.

Here is the memorial and inscription:

TO THE BRAVE MEN
WHO PERISHED
IN THE WRECK
OF THE TITANIC
APRIL 15 1912
THEY GAVE THEIR
LIVES THAT WOMEN
AND CHILDREN
MIGHT BE SAVED

ERECTED BY THE
WOMEN OF AMERICA

It was a harsh deal for men, even then. But now, as the pall of feminist governance degrades even the token honors bestowed upon male sacrifice, and seeks to throw us all over the rails of a sinking ship, it is time to recognize that there is no longer any value in the social contract that places men at such risk. Our society has become a great, sinking ship, and it is time for men to save not women, but themselves, and their sons.

False accusations, false rape culture, corrupt family courts, educational bias, legal tyranny, PAS, media demonization, government corruption, VAWA’s false DV hysteria, Title IX and the institutionalized minefield of “Dear Colleague,” all have helped shape a culture of hate, and given rise to even more insidious agendas and ideologies.

We do as much as we can with our growing arsenal of online weapons to alter this destructive and hateful course, but the time has come to also take our voices to the streets in protest.

It has long been our position here that AVfM focuses its attention exclusively on online activism. However, the centennial of the Titanic’s sinking provides us a unique and one time only opportunity.

Thus, this first announcement is one of many to come regarding A Voice for Men’s  “Sink Misandry” protest, to be staged live in Washington D.C. on April 15, 2012.

You are asked to join myself, John the Other, and a soon to be announced group of fellow MRA’s in America’s capital on that day to voice your opposition to the scourge of social and legal misandry. T-shirts and protest signs will be provided gratis, to registered participants, as well as information on travel and discount lodging for the event.

Please sign up here for our newsletter below. Feel free to sign up even if you cannot attend, but if you do plan on coming, please sign up and let us know you are attending.

The Sink Misandry protest will the important first step in taking the activism on this website to the world at large. And it will provide some much needed live contact for MRA’s.

Also, as we will be repeating in the future, there are Titanic Memorials spread throughout the world, including key cities in Europe and Australia. Please contact AVfM if you want support in organizing an event in your country on the same day.

I am sure there will be many questions. We will be collecting all of them and providing answers in future announcements.

It’s time to fuck their streets up.
