Now a man ends up in prison for rape… because he lied about his religion.
Just recently in Israel an Arab man was sentenced to 18 months in prison for “raping” a Jewish woman. A court ruled that her consent to having sex with the man, who she had just met, was invalid because the man had told the woman he was Jewish.
The story went like this. The couple met in 2008 by serendipity in downtown Jerusalem. The man, 30 year old Sabbar Kashur, allegedly told the woman he was a Jewish bachelor seeking a serious relationship. Preliminaries dispensed with, the couple immediately retreated to a nearby building and had sex.
Later the woman, who is of course unnamed, discovered that Kashur was not Jewish and filed charges. The judges in the case agreed with her, citing that “If she hadn’t thought the accused was a Jewish bachelor interested in a serious romantic relationship, she wouldn’t have cooperated.”
Cooperated?
Wait just a damned minute. The idea that sex is something that happens just by the “cooperation” of the woman rules out the idea that mutually consensual sex ever happens in the first place. Two people don’t find themselves attracted to each other and just decide to have sex? The man decides, and the woman only cooperates with him?
While racism also obviously played a role in this (Israelis imprison Arabs by the truckload), it is also clear that modern day Israeli coochie has lapdogs aplenty in their criminal justice system.
Now, I am not going to bash this woman for having sex with a man as part of a formal introduction. It is a free sexual world and women have gained the sexual liberation they demanded. That works for me.
But you have to ask, just how discerning could she have been if her only criteria for cooperating with him was to hear he was Jewish and single? Ah, but as always is the case these days, the lesson in discernment here is for him.
I suppose it never entered the judges minds that she got to know this guy well enough to satisfy her criteria, and obvious desire, for a quick fuck, and then turned legal terrorist when she found out her Mr. Right Now had not been as forthcoming as she wanted.
It puts women in the role of very dangerous children, and makes every man a predator.
How man men have, say, lied about their income to make themselves more appealing to the money grubbers out there? Are they now all rapists? How about the guy that is a recovering alcoholic and doesn’t want to tell someone that until he knows them well enough? Is he a rapist for not putting that on the table?
Where are the limits to this? And it must be asked, though it certainly won’t be in any venue that matters, what about women that lie to men in order to get them interested in a sexual relationship?
I once had a woman lie to me about her age. If she had told the truth, I would likely have passed. Did she rape me?
Sorry, I forgot, only women can be raped.
Sexual freedom has become a womans domain, and with it has come unfettered power to take on the role of black widow, destroying any man with whom she cooperates. One more rigged game in a rigged system where women hold all the cards and men just pay for whatever their whim of the moment happens to be.
I know, I know. Not all women are like that.

That is definitely the point. And it was what I was not so subtly alluding to in the “End Game” piece. Women are dangerous in this culture, and the more “success” you have with them, the more you are exposed to.
Time to take game to the next level and use it to weed out nut cases like this.

Some of my family visited their country, and it absolutely ridiculous. They have their own version of the Berlin Wall separating the Palestinians in the East from the Jews in the West. It has armed soldiers, barbed wire, and guard digs and everything. It’s like a giant Auschwitz. I’ve heard stories about what happens to the Arabs on their side. It’s not pretty.
Would it then be considered rape if a man “cooperates” with a woman who wants sex from him after telling him she is using birth control when she is not if he would not have “cooperated” with her if she had told the truth?

As soon as I saw that ProfMTH, a Youtube’r I subscribe to and respect, had uploaded a video on this Israeli case, I knew what he was going to say. He’s the typical modern intellectual who has marinated in liberal statism his entire life.
I subscribe for his critiques of the Bible, which are brilliant, but his day job is teaching law and he produces videos on law from time to time. As such, his knowledge and ability to construct arguments is formidable and demands serious attention.
He proves that lying to procure sex is fraud by typical definition, in my opinion. He uses this to equate lying to receive sex with more familiar forms of financial fraud, which the legal system provides remedy for.
I’m very interested to hear what you think of this argument, Paul. I have my own thoughts, but I don’t want to reveal them until I see your pristine opinion.

Very well done video. And first, I had to laugh at “sexual purity.”
I think Estrich was really off the mark. Now I am inclined to agree that obtaining sex from someone who you have induced to think you are someone else might fit the definition of rape.
BUT there are a couple of sticking points that Estrich did not address, and neither did the gentleman who did this video.
Their conclusions are based on the assumption that the use of the vagina (note I did not say the vagina itself) has some monetary value. This would imply, if we are using the fraud for property or money model, some sort of actual loss to the victim.
Did the woman in Israel actually lose anything from this? That would seem to be the question. She still had her vagina when it was over, and we must assume it was in the same operating condition as it was before she was “raped.”
So what is the loss? Is she not able to use it again? LOL!!
There is also the matter of gender discrimination in the law. As it is worded “penetration” is only achievable by a man. This would mean, at least in Tennessee, that only men can rape by fraud, and that a woman who obtains sex by lying cannot have legally committed the same crime.
That would make the law unconstitutional, IMO.
In the end, in order to buy this line, we have to fix some sort of dollar amount to the use of a vagina, and establish that any use obtained by fraud resulted in an actual loss.

I am wary of using tortuous logic in my disagreement with ProfMTH, since that’s an indicator of bias, but the question of “loss” is exactly where I found a problem with the financial fraud analogy.
If financial fraud was found to have occurred, the court attempts to make the victim whole, and that is generally a simple thing to do. In applying this to “rape,” it’s impossible to determine how much has been lost, or if anything was lost at all. This area of prosecution would be more rife with genuine fraud than a securities package written at Goldman Sachs. Something was lost just if she claims it was. “Sexual purity” actually makes sense as being something a woman could have injured, but I don’t think that concept applies anymore. The perpetrator can’t have sex with her in reverse to restore any imagined loss, so we’d just end up with another way to punish men with prison time if they fail to please a woman’s whims. We’re supposed to just sit back and pretend that throwing a man in jail for this will in some metaphysical way accomplish something.
All of that aside, I think there is a fundamental issue here that is the source of my problem with the whole matter.
Throw out all the bullshit about fraud, “taking care of your kids,” etc. All of these sex-related legal remedies point towards one main objective: to reduce the dangers inherent in female promiscuity. They do this by using the legal system to shift the entirety of the burden to men. And I do mean the entirety. There is no area where women have any duties or responsibilities, only choices that are insured by outrageously intrusive or outright unjust legal sanction.
We have to ask, what is the purpose of the legal system? Is it to ensure that people play fair within the economy, and to respond (notice I don’t say “protect” like ProfMTH does) to grievous harm against a person’s fundamental rights? Or is it to attempt to right every wrong, increasingly without limitation?
ProfMTH proves that lying to get sex is slimy, but are we to believe that women are this worthy of tyrannical and arbitrary power, when there is no legitimate damage done? It’s outrageous to broach the suggestion that women change their ways if they don’t want to be lied to or otherwise be used by someone beneath their perceived stature.
Really, we get it now. Any scumbag male who is not a genuine alpha is to be punished under sexual harassment or “rape by deception” if he attempts to have his biological needs met. A woman’s lot is to reject more men than she accepts, but now she can really put some emphasis into her contempt for all men beneath her. She need only have the desire to do so and some men in uniform will shoulder their guns to do her bidding.
There are millions of plausible reasons to “protect” women from “bad men,” and that seems to be a priority in the feminist agenda. But, we’re not talking about something as innocuous as raking in a few halibut when we’re going trawling for tuna. This is the lives and freedom of genuine human beings being considered less valuable than a woman’s transilient emotional state.
This is NOT sexual freedom. This is sexual terrorism.

I still say he ought to do time because she is a minor, regardless if it was consensual or not. I also suspect that he did force her and use psychological manipulation and threat (like “i will kill your family” or “everyone will blame you and you will not be able to get married”).
Small town and village girls in India are very cloistered, innocent and naive and this adult male clearly took advantage of that.
It’s much different than a cosmopolitan adult Israeli woman who goes to bars hoping to score a hot Jew man.
