WASHINGTON (AVfM) Yesterday, September 28th, Vice President Joseph Biden appeared on “The View” a popular daytime television show to talk about violence perpetrated against young women aged between 18 and 30. Biden, champion of the Violence Against Women Act which passed in 1994 which is currently past due for renewal, predictably spoke of all types of intimate partner violence as a gender specific crime with men being the sole perpetrators and women being the sole victims. He even invoked the memory of his father who he quoted as saying “you should never ever raise your hand to a woman in anger” and then went on to tell viewers that violence against women and victim blaming was a norm in our society.
Woopie Goldburg, moderator on the show and a popular entertainer known for her role in the 1985 film “The Color Purple” in which she portrayed a victim of domestic violence, interjected abruptly during Biden’s diatribe stating: “And will you just also remind people, remind the women that the way to get a man’s attention is not to hit him? Do not hit him. (applause) Because this is something violent in itself, is something we need to teach kids is not to perpetrate on each other. No?”
Despite a smattering of applause, Neither Biden or any of the other moderators on the show showed any appreciable reaction to her comments.
The letter cited a number of credible sources including studies performed by the CDC and the American Journal of Public Health that cite violence perpetrated by teenage females as a rapidly growing problem.
Excerpt from the letter:
“• According to the 2009 Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance Survey, 10% of teenage boys were victimized by dating violence in the past year, compared to only 9% of teenage girls experiencing dating violence (http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/pdf/ss/ss5905.pdf – Table 12)
• According to a national survey of young adults ages 18-25, in cases of one-way violence, females were the aggressors in 71% of the cases, and males the initiators 29% of the time. (Whitaker DJ et al. American Journal of Public Health, Vol. 97, No. 5, 2007)”
This letter, like Woopie Goldburg’s comments on the show, was ignored by Vice President Biden.
S.A.V.E. also called upon concerned citizens on Monday to contact the White House to express their concerns. After Biden’s appearance emails were sent out to those on S.A.V.E.’s email list urging people to express outrage at the misrepresentation of the true nature of intimate partner violence and an email link to the White House was provided.

I jumped on this one this morning with a slightly modified response that I’ve sent to a lot of d.v. news articles. I sent it to these three email addresses. One of those email addresses came in a response that said it was a direct one to Biden.

Re: The very worst abuse is lying about abuse by those who know better
To Whom It May Concern:
When will the domestic violence industry and V.P. Joe Biden recognize women who batter men? Vice President Biden has called the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) “his baby,” but Biden should be ashamed, not proud, of his misandric piece of gender feminist, legislation, which excuses and rewards women’s domestic violence against men (including teen dating violence by women), thereby fueling more domestic violence against men by women.
Among dating partners, U.S. Centers for Disease Control surveys have repeatedly documented that females are more likely than males to be the initiators of partner violence:
- According to the 2009 Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance Survey, 10% of teenage boys were victimized by dating violence in the past year, compared to only 9% of teenage girls experiencing dating violence (http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/pdf/ss/ss5905.pdf – Table 12)
- According to a national survey of young adults ages 18-25, in cases of one-way violence, females were the aggressors in 71% of the cases, and males the initiators 29% of the time. (Whitaker DJ et al. American Journal of Public Health, Vol. 97, No. 5, 2007)
According to the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services http://tinyurl.com/62rora and DOJ statistics, http://tinyurl.com/3xgllyv more kids are killed by neglect and abuse in a year (1,460 in 2005), than all the female intimate partner homicides in in a year (1,181 in 2005). And mothers are the single largest group of kid killers. They have a rate twice that of fathers, yet the taxpayer funded (gender feminist run) domestic violence industry would have us believe that women don’t egregiously batter men too. They’re lying!
As shown by HHS statistics, http://tinyurl.com/5hnjq6 the age range for those child homicides is about ten times narrower than that for female intimate partner homicide, making that rate of child homicide far more concentrated. Yet funding to prevent those child homicides is minimal, compared to the billions that go to the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA).
Credible research overwhelmingly shows that the ratio of d.v. is at least 50/50 between women & men. http://tinyurl.com/3sakk According to one study by researchers who work at the CDC, in 70% of domestic violence incidents, where the domestic violence is not mutual, it’s women who initiate the domestic violence. http://tinyurl.com/yzm9xhe
V.P. Biden recently called violence against women, “the very worst abuse.” The very worst abuse is valuing one life less than another for having been born the wrong sex, or the wrong age. Under Biden’s Violence Against Women Act the wrong sex is men and the wrong age group is children. Shelter and services are virtually non-existent for male victims of domestic violence (and in some cases men and their children) so those options out of a bad relationship, that are routinely available to women, are very often not available to men. Men wind up gender profiled and often falsely accused by the taxpayer funded, domestic violence industry, because of gender feminist ideology controlling the domestic violence industry. Men are often battered by domestic violence, and then battered again by the taxpayer funded, domestic violence industry.
The taxpayer funded domestic violence industry has largely mischaracterized the true nature of domestic violence from the beginning and continues to mislead the public. Domestic violence law, following the gender feminist agenda/ideology over facts in evidence, does great harm to many innocent men and children (and also many battering women who need help) as shown in “Los Misandry” at Youtube, and as shown in “Witch-Hunting Males” at Youtube.

Typo there at the end of the second paragraph – “Because this is something violence in itself?”
She may have figured out, just then, that she’s been a dupe this whole time. But I doubt it.
I can’t believe out of all people in the world that Whoopi Goldberg spoke out on violence against men. **GASP**
Trust me Krazie316…
The women that side with this stuff first – is going to be a huge shocker to everybody…
That is, the women who object to the same things we do – are not going to be the people that most would expect…
Exclude all the obvious haters though – like the hard core feminists, sharon osbournes, lorena bobbits etc… Those people are too far gone.
Yeah, I found myself going “weelllll nooowww” when I read that part. Glad to see that not all celebs by into the VAWA bullcrap.
I hear you there brother. Here I thought she was of the feminist ilk.
Glad to see I am wrong. Perhaps she is more like us than any feminist and just identifies that way on the basis of the candy coated statement of goals feminists throw around when they want people to feel sorry for them rather than saying, “Go shave you man-hating maladjusted lesbian.“
Actually Ms. Goldburg has made some very interesting comments in regards to issues males face. On one episode of The View she came out in favor of male reproductive rights when they were talking about a case where a mans girlfriend got pregnant on the sly and he was trying to challenge child support in the courts.
“Wait a minute, what if he didn’t want to be a father, what if he didn’t want to have kids with her?” she said.
She is someone to watch I think.
One of the cornerstones of feminism is the “male/evil, woman/good” mentality. If this misandric myth were to disappear, then the feminist castle will come crumbling down. Feminist ideology has put all its eggs in the “male/evil, woman/good” mentality that without it, women would lose their special privileges. What is happening in Japan is what occurs when men refuse to play the game anymore, the game where the rules are rigged in favor of women at the expense of men. I have been thinking about starting my own business because I will not tolerate the hostile work environments for males present in our societies. Just today, a feminist professor of mine decided to tell the class she has never once done any housework in her marriage because housework is a form of abuse when done by women. She makes sure her husband does all the housework, even though he works a construction job. I don’t know how this had any merit in regards to the course curriculum, but it is standard from women feminists to always turn the conversation in a direction that becomes misandric. You almost have to go your own way when you realize that if you continue to play the game, you will be bombarded with misandry at almost every turn.
“Despite a smattering of applause, Neither Biden or any”
That n in “Neither” should be a small n.
Also, Whoopie Goldberg’s name is written with an e. This is a big mistake folks, misspelling a celebrity’s name should be something avoided. Just a single google search should let you find the correct spelling since google asks you if you meant the right spelling.
As for Biden, anyone expect any different?
I love this article and the fact that Ray jumped on it like a dog on a bone. It is pure gold to have quick access to the statistics that Robert has provided. Also, I offer my sincere thanks and admiration to S.A.V.E.
Man hating scum of the earth filth like Joe Biden are the reason MRMs cannot say that men’s rights is party neutral.
Yes, conservative policies are as anti man and anti boy as liberal policies. However, there is a difference:
Conservatives justify bigoted anti-male policies as a necessary “sacrefice” made by “good” men.
LIberals justify bigoted anti-male policies because all men are “evil” and deserve punishment.
If I am going to be humiliated, beaten, enslaved, and violated — I prefer to do it as a conservative “duty”, rather than a liberal “punishment”.
I can’t wait to see Biden and his entire filthy liberal Democratic party return to the sewar from which they came in November.
By the way, I voted for Biden and Obama. My wife did not want to vote for them, and I convinced her to do so also.
I was a mangina for most of my life, and I have much to make up for.
Brother, I would say that you are off to one hell of a good start. If you are going to ever self-identify with the word mangina contained anywhere therein, I submit that uberreformed mangina should be the closest you deserve to come to the word.
On a side note, nice job as head of your household controlling two votes, as, in my opinion, it should always be.
“You should never raise a hand against a woman in anger” (big dramatic voice).
Yet it’s perfectly okay for women to do it to men?
Yeah, that’s REAL equality right there for you, huh? (sarcasm)
My grandfather was smarter I believe.
His take on the subject was,
“Lad, you should never hit a lady.”
“But, Grandpa what about ladies that hit you? Why is that alright?”
“Oh, those are not ladies my boy. They may look it but if they won’t act it show them, don’t tell them why they should not be hitting you.”
Considerring his age and era that was pretty on the ball and a great way to teach a young boy.
M’God, Raven, I certainly wish I’d had a grandpa as smart as yours!
V.P. Biden and the socio-political crowd he runs with reveal a great deal about their manipulative tactics when they discuss issues like violence against women. By declaring the old, “You should never raise a hand against a woman…” dictum, he is suggesting that any dissenters must approve of battering women. Honest debate is shut down before it even begins.
V.P. Biden must have been deeply relieved that Ms Goldberg didn’t follow through her unexpected interjection with a detailed and statistically-supported refutation of the V.P.’s wildly lop-sided claims. The presenters on “The View” are briefed about upcoming guests well in advance of their appearances. She had ample opportunity ot prepare a proper counter to V.P. Biden’s, by now, well-worn schtick regarding VAWA – and been script-perfect, as actors are trained to do.
I wonder what the audience’s reaction would have been if Ms. Goldberg had been a man. Would it have been mere lukewarm indifference? I’m beginning to suspect that the MRA’s stance on critical issues will only find their way ‘in’ to the MSM via surprise mavericks such as Ms Goldberg. Who could be more of a surprise than a woman – and a famously left-wing black woman at that? Would V.P. Biden ever publicly rebuke her as an ignorant, misogynist whiner? Possibly – Democrats are notorious canibals. But Ms Goldberg (or someone like her) could provide that little bit of traction to get the relatively small numbers needed to make a massive difference. Not this time, obviously, but this incident offers a glimpse of hope.
I only have to have the thought of Joe Biden cross my mind and it destroys my mood for hours and I begin having the most violent fantasies. This guy is destined to be remembered as the most pussy begging, cowardly piece of slim of a man that ever walked. I just hope it is within his lifetime.
I tend to refer to him as Joe Billen… er Biden.
Billen being german for ass it seems more fitting than his actual surname.
”College Times” newspaper (http://www.ecollegetimes.com/) glorifies and promotes violence against men in it’s most recent cover image:

It’s all the rage folks. Learn to defend yourself.
Women stabbing men multiple times in the chest with screwdrivers is uneventful enough to be on the cover of college magazines. And this trash is without a doubt getting worse. What if he stabbed her 7 times in the chest and was standing there with her blood dripping from a screwdriver? Would it still be a suitable magazine cover? Women initiate 71% of intimate partner violence. We have magazine covers that satirize this issue. But they want us to take violence against women seriously? What if the cover featured a white man stabbing a black man? Or a woman stabbing a dog 7 times with a screwdriver? Or a woman stabbing another woman or a man stabbing another man of the same race? Or a boy stabbing a monkey multiple times??? Hmmm, it is now suddenly abundantly clear that the only form of violence that is acceptable in this culture is that which is perpetrated by a woman against a man. But we have about 15 programs per year on this campus alone to curb violence against women perpetrated by men. But, merely acknowedging this while having external genitilia will get you fired. Ok, now I understand my status as a man. Thanks.
On the topic of masculine television representation – but not detrimental – is a Flexischool in Toowoomba, Queensland shown on Channel 10′s 7PM Project.
An retired men’s voluntary organisation, Tomnet (http://www.tomnet.org.au), have contributed mentoring to the students at this school and in the process helping reduce truancy at this school.
Unfortunately the services by the men of this organisation were not adequately covered, instead much of it covered retired women who were introduced to the school by Tomnet – who from appearances are not the majority of the volunteers.
Surely the demographic that provides the majority of services should get the recognition they’re due!
