   First time poster, and i’m sure you guys have seen these videos, but it bears repeat. The Anita Sarkeesian situation is something that’s near and dear to my heart. I’ve wanted to see some of the bigger names in the MRM tackle the issue, but have come to realise that she’s just such an easy, pointless target.

     Yep they’re incredibly good work.

     One thing he left out–I asked him about it and he said it was because he could not definitively prove it–was the evidence that someone (I wonder who?) posted a promotion of that Kickstarter video on two different 4chan boards the day it was released–and they promptly disappeared after a day or so. Since it can’t be proven who did that or where exactly they went, he didn’t use it. But anyone who knows anything about 4chan knows exactly what would happen if you did something like that to the b/tards.

     It increasingly appears that she’s the most financially successful troll in interwebz history. But you know, she’s a girl, and cute, and has a sweet voice, so that makes it all OK.

   I’m relieved I opened the new cat blog at my workplace and not in front of the cats…because Archie (the demon brother of Asbo) would be demanding that I crochet him a cool cat chainmail outfit…

   Loved the videogame discussion. As part of the 25% (female hardplayer) I encounter mostly good treatment and camaraderie. Once I was discussing with a girl and she said that while playing in Team Fortress 2, people voted to mute her as soon as she talked, and that was because she was a girl. And I thought: She must be VERY annoying haha, because I have about 500 hours of play in Team Fortress 2 and that never happened to me, and never saw that happen to other women who play that game, and I encountered many.
