Erin Pizzey and Warren Farrell

From StudioBrule, a great interview with AVfM Editor-at-Large Erin Pizzey and Warren Farrell. They should have bothered with editing the video, but once you get past the unnecessary inclusion of technical problems, it was a great talk.

  1. Erin FTW. The question is, is he listening?

  2. Paul, I consider myself more patient than most, but ‘unnecessary inclusion of technical problems’ is a serious understatement. It became so laughably inept at one point that I gave up watching in utter frustration. People such as the British legend ‘ManWomanMyth’ would, I’m sure, sooner gnaw off a foot without the benefit of anaesthetic, than launch such a piece on an unsuspecting public.

When StudioBrule can be bothered to edit this piece to a reasonable standard, I’ll be bothered to watch the full piece.

    • You are doomed as a politician. Too much truth coming from you for that. :)

    • I sent them a message. You CANNOT play audio from YouTube videos over a Google meeting, except to crank up the volume all the way on your speakers so loud that the speaker sound goes through your mic.

Hey, we all have rookie mistakes. I had a shitty camera and mic for my first two Honeybadger files, since rectified. It was still a good interview and he should be able to edit it later into something decent.

Erin has more spine than Dr. Farrell I’m afraid. The truth has to be told about the radfems who control academia and many government departments: they are indeed a radical, Stalinist hate group. It’s what they are. Even though I’m willing to be nice enough to NAFALTs who continue to be ignorant of this, if they show they won’t educate themselves and won’t listen, fuck ‘em. If you cannot call haters what they are, without hesitation, and if you look at this and say “it’s just a bunch of women, they’re powerless,” YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM.

      So infuriating.

Slightly offtopic, but concerning Warren Farrell….

At the UofT Varsity article, there was a small discussion of Farrell and incest. So I googled and the top hit of course is the Liz Library’s “reproduction” of the article.

So I read it, and well, if anyone actually reads it, it truly doesn’t say very much and is hardly damning at all.

I wonder if it might not be better for Farrell, AVFM, and Men’s Rights, to go find a copy of that original article, scan it in, and host it here alongside commentary showing it just ain’t what it’s made out to be.

Bring the issue into the open, debunk it, and stop the Liz Library with all their bullshit from being the #1 search result, and then make it easy for people looking for it to discover the truth and find out other actual truths about Men’s Rights.

My guess is that a google search for Farrell and incest yields 90% of the traffic to the Liz Library. Steal it, rebut it, and shut that propaganda source down.

    • Yes, all that happened is that Farrell found that 6 out of 200 people who were incest survivors reported that the incest was a positive experience for them–i.e. about 3%–and mused in an off-the-cuff comment that it’s possible we might plausibly be harming some incest survivors to not at least grant them the possibility that they don’t have to feel bad about it.

The way that’s been blown into “advocating incest” is the worst sort of Stalinistic propaganda.

      • Much like telling rape victims “the worst thing in the world just happened to them and they’d be better off dead”?
Man, who could think that just maybe how we treat people including people that have been subject to rape or incest just might affect how the deal and heal.
One must be a real nutter to suggest that we could do better for these people.

FFS! You’d think something as important as this might be done with a minimum of professionalism…

    James Huff, where are you?!

Back to the rest of the interview.

Gee wiz. Knowledge of history is important for MRAs, it turns out. The marxist roots and the specific methods, techniques, agenda and goals of the organizing of feminism is worth studying. The endless litany that Feminism vs. the MRM “is not a left-right issue” is not based on history of facts of any kind; it based on preferences, personal ideology, philosophy, preferences and feelings. In other words it is the type of statement consistent with feminist post-rational subjective emotivism.

I do not claim there is an easily identifiable “right” political position out there in the political environment that embraces the MRM position. But, and this is crucial, it is a fact that the entire authoritarian bureaucracy that we are opposing is 100% based on leftism and that the system was carefully designed and implemented over a period of decades with deliberation.

Gramsci is THE theoretician. The Frankfurt School developed it. The university hiring committees were deliberately taken over by Frankfurt School cultural marxists with the results we all observe now: almost complete orthodoxy. Ignoring this history is insane.

If Norman O. Brown and Herbert Marcuse’s goal of “polymorphous promiscuity” (overcoming the “superego” of “patriarchy” because all oppression comes from paternal authority) has progressed (through 60s post-morality and “liberation”) giving us a more “progressive culture” (less paternal influence) then can we not say that increased crime, increased child abuse, over public pornography, vulgarity, vileness of language and what is called “the rape culture” are not the product of “let it all hang out” “if it feels good, do it” philosophy, which is, specifically polymorphous perversity?

If Marcuse was wrong about human nature, which he definitely was, can we not say that destroying the family (because superego, morality, needs to be gotten rid of) does not only not eradicate of “the rape culture” (or culture of crime, narcissism, lack of self control, addiction, etc.), but rather that it is the absolute guarantee of getting a “rape culture” and decadence and all its forms, which is the prerequisite for a demographic that might be most easily dominated by tyrants and organized crime (gov’t)?

The more cultural marxism there is the more rape, suicide, torture there is. Most of the rape, torture and murder that we have today is government-sponsored and government-controlled. Is it any wonder that ultra-high level financial sociopaths are only too pleased to see this leftist takeover?

I am here. I would have run standard quotes and simply sent supporting links, flashing them onscreen at appropriate times for the watching audience. However, this was done live with a live chat. I would have tested the tech with the interviewees a week before hand.

    • The Google meeting software for this sort of thing is very easy to work but you really should practice with it before going live. What it does is let you record and save it directly to your YouTube channel. Which, if you’re prepared and know what you’re doing would go off well, but what you’d really want is to record this, make it a private video, and edit it.

Ah well, we all learn. StudioBrule in general is doing great stuff.

I really hope that the inaudible video inserts can be edited out without spoiling this otherwise excellent video. The cameras and lighting for all three resulted in some good quality images. The sound wasn’t perfect but quite acceptable considering it was a live broadcast from three different locations. This is potentially solid gold in my opinion. :)

Although the technical problems are heinous and maddening, I managed to slog through the entire video. It was like watching bloody spitballs hurled from the vagina of the goddess of feminism at beloved, brilliant works of art.

What should have been a signature performance by the MRM teetered endlessly on the edge of becoming a sorry joke.

Farrell and Pizzey were heroic, cool and insightful, and it was only through listening to them that I was able to keep my rage at the unending technical failures under control. The failures NEVER STOPPED – the plague went on to the bitter end.

In my younger days I stormed out of incompetent productions like that and refused all entreaties to return, often putting my livelihood at risk. I doubt I will ever watch anything from Studio Brule ever again – what a dolt. You ALWAYS, ALWAYS test your production equipment BEFORE you use it – to do otherwise is an idiotic criminal assault on your guests and your audience.

I’d score Erin and Warren 98 points each out of 100, and add an additional 20 bonus each for combat pay. They were awesome despite everything. It is no wonder feminists are terrified of them.

The extreme irony of the piece was both Erin and Warren repeatedly emphasizing the importance communication issues even while the production communications were crashing down all around them.

What a nightmare – the beautiful new Titanic sinks in a freezing sea. The destruction of this piece and its lost potential is a tragedy almost beyond words.

    I feel sick.

Fascinating, stuff, and so refreshing to see 2 caring and compassionate individuals address the issues dear to our hearts and relevant to our future. That articulate voices such as these have been ignored and concealed for so long speaks to the power of feminist ideology and indoctrination in our society. Slowly however feminist power, domination and hate is being exposed and will continue to crumble.

Well having also watched the video all the way through here’s my take on the production, performance and content.
Production Aside from the inaudible video inserts I thought the production values were otherwise well above average. The cameras and lighting on all three participants produced good sharp images. The audio was a little flaky at times but that is more of a VOIP issue than failings with say the microphones used.
    Performances:
Steve Brule – other than his very annoying stubbornness in persisting in using video inserts where the audio was not coming through (despite being told several times it wasn’t working!) I think he did an otherwise excellent job. He asked a lot of perceptive questions and made some astute observations.
Warren Farrell – His clear analysis of complex social factors never ceases to educate and impress me although his Ghandi like attitude to extreme feminist hostility can be irksome to some of the feisty spirits amongst us.
Erin Pizzey – Erin was as sharp as a razor – Erin was very much on the ball and her observations about early childhood development and parenting matched well with Warren’s learned findings. I also learned new respect for a certain biochemical called “oxytocin” as a result!
Content – well this already partly covered but to be fair to Steve Brule on this aspect I think he did an excellent job in getting the most out of his illustrious guests with his perceptive questions and topic pickings.
As others here have said though I hope he has learned a lesson about the value of thorough PRE-testing equipment and systems before going live again.

I really enjoyed this interview despite the technical issues it made me a little teary eyed in spots especially when Warren talked about how how families need both nurturing mothers and fathers who foster courage in the children and when Erin talked about how difficult it is for any father today to remain in these hostile households and how we as a society need to welcome fathers back into our communities. I tend to see this all as an orchestrated conspiracy against males and men/fathers so I tend to agree a little more with Erin but I really appreciate both of them and I appreciate A Voice For Men. I will continue supporting all of you and I encourage anyone who hasn’t to please support these voices and AVFM any way you can because no one else is saying what needs to be said even if we may not always agree.

  12. The technical difficulties were just, unbearably bad.
But otherwise, this was a fantastic video interview & I enjoyed it very much.
Erin Pizzey & Warren Ferrell?! Come on, it doesn’t get better than that!
You can rest assured Warren, young people ARE taking up the cause.

On AVFM and MRA London

Paul Elam issues a statement regarding the recent meltdown at MRA London and where A Voice for Men will be going in the aftermath. This is one of those issues that comes up in the MHRM from time to time, and from which there is literally no escape. All opinions on it are welcome in this thread.

Jake Pentland’s Nuts

We genuinely like Jake Pentland, even if we think he's a little confused sometimes. Also, sadly, he seems to hang out with some misandrist flakes.

Statement from Erin Pizzey

And now comes Erin Pizzey to make a statement regarding recent events at MRA London. Erin extends her endorsement and support of Andy Thomas as the head of MRA London, as well reaching out to others in the UK that may want to join them for efforts in the future.

A Very British Coup

No one likes the sight of dirty laundry hanging out. This is especially true in the MHRM. But sometimes it is just inevitable. And sometimes, what looks like dirty laundry is actually laundry that has just been cleaned, and it is hanging out to dry in a cool breeze. Events now from MRA London

Spanish Gender Stalinism – Part I

Lucian Vâlsan brings us a comprehensive update on the incredible level of feminist governance that has taken over the nation of Spain, robbing Spanish men of their property, income and civil liberties as a matter of routine. All of it is based on corrupt feminist data and political pressure.

In defence of Patton Oswalt

Elly Tams, whose PhD in Gender Studies has been converted into a Doctorate of FTSU, returns with an eye-rolling rumination on the apparent ongoing need of feminists to pick on comedians. This time Patton Oswalt is in their crosshairs. Good luck dealing with those harpies, Patton.
